George Bernard Shaw said, “The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for circumstances they want, and, if they can’t find them, make them.” The whole point is that leaders, teams and organizations can be more effective if they look to the future and think about where they are headed and what they want to accomplish. Many individuals and teams skip this important step and jump to planning.
We custom design work sessions that allow individuals and teams to create their own future using a variety of techniques including Appreciative Inquiry and de Bono’s Six Hat Thinking.

Redefining Functional Purpose Global Full Service Restaurant Company
S i t u a t i o n:
Senior human resources team seeking to define their group as a global “brand.” This move was in response to a strategic objective introduced by the CEO – “to become one global brand.” Specifically, the focus was placed on the question, “what does it mean to be “one global brand from the HR perspective.”
O u r a p p r o a c h:
Worked with team through the Edward de Bono Six Hats Thinking process. The technique helped the team look at important parameters of becoming global from a number of different perspectives. It helped them understand their objective by allowing them to move outside their habitual ways of thinking. As such, it helped them understand the full complexity of the objective, and spot issues and opportunities to which they might otherwise be blind.
R e s u l t s:
